On Thursday 21st March, a group of Year 12 students helped the residents of our local care home, celebrate World Poetry Day.
We were warmly received by all the staff and it was so uplifting to see how happy the residents were to meet the girls and hear their chosen poems. The poems struck a chord with all, with their inspirational and thoughtful themes. It gave us all time to pause in our busy lives and contemplate on life’s blessings.
